Course Guide

Abby Hall Luca, MA, CPM

Greetings! My name is Abby and I will be your guide through this course. I am a seasoned educator, a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), and an interfaith chaplain, and I live in a rambling old farmhouse with my partner Stephen and our cat Banksy on Abenaki land in the foothills of the White Mountains in Western Maine. I founded the Roots and Hearth School in 2022 as a way to connect to midwifery and chaplaincy clients, as well as to the larger community of interested learners. I'm so glad to have found you here, and I look forward to growing alongside you.
